Students read through several memoir comics throughout ENG 325, including When Stars Are Scattered, El Deafo, Marbles, and Fights. This became one of our touchstone terms, especially during the Graphic Medicine section.
We distinguished these from our COVID Chronicles 1pg comics due to the immediate, lived experiences, and here, some students worked out their experiences with the genre.
