Our course began with discussing how graphic narratives hold the potential for increased representation, allowing us to visually see ourselves within these comics and read narratives about each other, especially in children’s comics. These comics reflect students’ efforts to draw their understanding and engagement with the term itself, particularly in the graphic medium.
